I have a Bell Apex 200 and it is a full face. It's kinda noisey too. Everything I read about helmets said to get a full face helment. So I did. Mine was hot this past summer but I'm good with that. I can't smell myself at 70 mph. So, I'm a stinker and a smart feller.... who woulda thunk it???

Anyone who tells you that wearing a full face helmet reduces the ability to hear or see other traffic is simply FOS.

Here is the truth:

Always worn a full face. I would feel naked even with a 3/4. considering the amount of large bugs and rocks that have introduced themselves to the faceshield im glad I have that full face.

Even on the hottest summer days simply cracking open the visor when at a stop is sufficient to keep comfortable.

I love my current helmet, its not a super expensive one but it fits really good (and has snell 2005 rating) and my glasses fit really well under it (as in they stay in place).

there's huge controversy right now about snell ratings.....
still recovering - back to crutches, then walking with a stick, then running - then hopefully riding again!
