What's the best way to do this to ensure it burns completely to the ground without any indication it was ever a motorcycle? No, not really. But yes, this is how I feel cause I am soooo frustrated with this thing. I have another post here somewhere. It hasn't been running right so I took apart the carbs and cleaned them and set the a/f needles to 2.5 turns out. I cleaned the filter, I put in new plugs with .025" gap and I adjusted the valves. Previously, it was fouling the plugs like crazy and running horribly. Before adjusting them, the a/f needles were 3 and 3.5 turns out. After all adjustments and repairs I fired it up today and guess what? STILL RUNS LIKE CRAP!! I had to pull the choke all the way out to get it to run and eventually it would just die. I checked the plugs and they were not fouled. Too lean? What do I do now???
BTW, it's a '07 Vulcan 500 w/1300 miles.
