I see no humor in this
Me neither, it's too hot. When you ride and the mirages come up from the road and peeps get road rage due to no aircon and your bike gets covered in tar that has melted on the road.

Your head swells in the helmet and you take your ears off at the same time as your helmet.

Your tank gets so hot that that next corner you take nearly cooks your family jewels.

You pull away from the stop st and leave half your boot tread on the deck.

You start your ride at a healthy 90 kilograms and arrive looking like Dr Ruth.

Better just to stay at home in the pool under the shade with some cold beers.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Better to look like Dr Ruth, than the ice man. Yes you better stay under you umbrella sitting by the pool drinking your beer. You poor guy

I shouldn't feel sorry for you, but at the same time I would have to say too hot is kinda worse than too cold. You can always do something to warm up, even if it means burning your house down a little bit at a time. But what can you really do to cool yourself from extreme hot.

(BTW when its that hot, drink a margarita instead of beer...kind of a sissy drink, but when its that hot it doesn't really matter)

Hopefully not too far off topic, but I went to resuscitate my '78 Ski-Doo Everest last weekend after a 3 year lay-up. After pumping out the gas and putting in fresh fuel, it started on the first pull. At 32 years old! Awesome.

It frickin cold outside. I cant warm up, even indoors. Its so dry that my hair is dry and frizzy, I look like a spider monkey...I cant get to the spot on me back that itches like crazy... :x
I have to dress in a parka, touque, mitts, scarf and boots, then realize I have to pee.

If its hot, chances are you will be in shorts and shirt or bikini, with sandles and a cool drink in your hand with some umbrella in it. OR Better yet, riding on your friggin motorcycle catching a nice breeze.

Next person who says they would rather have cold than heat is gonna get sent up here, sent outside...naked...with only a drink umbrella...and...start my car...and shovel my walk yet again...and.. then you can go help the neighbors out of the snow bank.

I'm with you, Triumphgirl.

The only time I'm not shivering and have every muscle in my body tensed is in the shower or after I've been in bed for an hour and get it warmed up. I eat 3X the calories in winter than I do in the summer, and it's just because I expend so much more energy trying to keep my body temp up so I am a paler shade of blue.

Dry skin, hair issues (hats... that's all I have to say), taking a leak with 6 inches of clothing and 3 inches of me......all just add hate-fuel to the fire.....

Winter SUCKS!!!
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Oh, dodo, I had to read that twice... I though you said little umbrella. I mean, there's a lot of things I'll do when nekkid and properly inebriated, but even I have limits.

OMG a little umbrella? Too funny but the funny thing is that is what I was picturing in my head. With the cold shrink factor, a DRINK umbrella, which we know is quite small can cover up things just nicely.

BuzZz, help me, what is a nightmare fest?
