Beautiful bike... enjoy the new ride!
Cheers,

Never were more truer words typed. My ex-boyfriend had one, same color actually. He got popped going over 80 on one of the bridges in San Francisco, he said it always felt just so comfortable and the ride was so smooth that he just was nt thinking he was going that fast.jstark47 wrote: So take care at low speed if you're not used to this kind of bike. They excel at long distances at high speeds in comfort. Congrats on your acquistion.
Heh, heh. Reminds me of something Lion_Lady wrote about another inline-4 awhile back....mazer wrote:My ex-boyfriend had one, same color actually. Big bore inline-4's will do that!Lion_Lady wrote:I test rode the K1200R........ I was humming along the highway, thinking to myself, "Why are all the cars going so sl -OOPS!- "
Yes the second generation K engines are smooth as silk but I think more to do with the superb fairing on the K bikes.jstark47 wrote:Heh, heh. I don't think it's just K-bikes. Big-bore inline 4's are just smooooooth. Duck your head down behind the windshield at 90mph, and my Trophy barely seems like it's running. It just begs for more and more throttle. Verrrry easy to get into trouble --HYPERR wrote:Yes the second generation K engines are smooth as silk but I think more to do with the superb fairing on the K bikes.jstark47 wrote:Heh, heh. The first generation K-bike Brick fours were pretty buzzy. The Brick triples were actually much nicer.jstark47 wrote:I don't think it's just K-bikes. Big-bore inline 4's are just smooooooth. Don't I know it. Done about 500 Kilometres on her so far and every time I get on, I amazed at the power that is available to me.jstark47 wrote:I don't think it's just K-bikes.
