Which bikes FROM 2010 do YOU want to ride?

#1 Post by Long_Rider » Sun Jan 24, 2010 2:20 pm

Recently a friend an I were sitting down over lunch fantasizing about this years superbikes and sport bikes... which do you all want to ride? I couldn't narrow it down to just 10, So I collected all the ones I thought were worthy of consideration.

Reply with your thoughts, if you could only pick 9, what would you pick to see sitting in a garage knowing you could ride anyone, imagine that!

If I've missed any, feel free to add your suggestions, but I think I did alright. And don't worry bout the pocketbook, pretend you're Jay Leno :D

My tastes are a little more practical, i.e. power I can actually use legally on the street. I'd like to try out a Street Triple R, and the 8 valve version of the Griso.

I'd love to rock a Busa, FJR 1300, ST 1300, or a Concours 14... Possibly a VFR too.

I will go with d Honda only. I think Honda is the most useful bike and every body have trust on it. Vincent Black Shadow is also too good.

You did ask which bikes I wanted to ride in 2010, not which 2010 bike I wanted to ride.

Of the 2010 I would like to ride a Honda XL 1000 V (Varadero) or even a XL 700V (Transalp)

Why dosen't Honda import the good bikes?

Cause Honda knows they won't sell enough to cover the expense of homologating them through US regulations.

Y'all know us 'murricans don't want none o' them weird bikes they rides in Yoorp!!!

That's right, we don't want practical. We want the biggest, loudest, fastest, most obnoxious bike we can get our hands on. It's easier and less scary than surgical *ahem* enhancement.

Yeah good pics, I looked at the FJR and ST but decided to narrow it down by picking only sport, and negating the touring... I tour on my bike and although after 250 klicks it really hurts like hell, I'd have it no other way lol!

Yes.. my bad... I changed the post title lol

Speaking of 'practical', male 'enhancement' is still rather dodgy, the procedures are barbaric and laughable, and I can't imagine the results being very attractive... no offense to any members who've had it done though, lol, props for trying!
