Wow! Looks like a great place. It's 22 degrees and raining.... :) I imagine a tropical shower feels good. When it rains here, it is a cold rain.

Thanks I am looking forward to it, 10 days away will be just right

Funny you mention the rain, we Marshaled a cycle race on Sunday, it rained all the way.

120 Kms and then we had to loop to do it again, so 480kms and it rained and rained from start to finish.

We were wet but in rain gear so not so bad but it was still 29'C. The worst was riding where the water covered the road and you could not see the pot holes. Lotsa cyclists went down because of this. We had to tell them to dismount and walk through some areas while we put feet up and charged through

Was fun but no one was hurt or came off (our crew)

Beautiful place. What type of race were you marshalling?

http://www.fastone.co.za./

We do a lot of the high profile races, traffic conditions in SA are hectic and we are used as safety Marshals.

great fun at the same time as helping the safety campaign

1 more sleep and then we are off. Everything packed and ready, panniers weighed, bike checked, tyre pressures and suspension checked

Early start, so see you in a week with some pics.
