Suzuki B-King

#1 Post by TroubledMind » Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:31 pm

I'm really looking to upgrade this spring to a suzuki B-King. I'm wondering some of the opinions on this bike from current owners. I want to make sure I'm getting something good. Other reviews have been quite positive but I'm wary because there are so many leftover 2008 brand new B-Kings out there, is there some sort of problem with them. Thanks in advance.

No they're just fine, but everyone thinks they're absolutely horrible looking. That's about it.
Also if you want someone that rides one, contact RhaddamYgg on here.

Thanks, I've sent him a PM. I actually really like the styling. Looks like since there is none around me I might have to buy one across the country and have it shipped.

If you do have it shipped, I'd recommend using uship.com. I've used them twice and it's worked great both times, once for two cars, once for a 5th wheel.

Don't know where you are, but the local dealer (4 miles from me) has had a nice deal on one - I think about $3K off, maybe more. It was still there when I was last in about two weeks ago. This is in Burlington county, New Jersey.

I live in upstate NY, (Adirondack Mountains), I just bought a 2010 Lancer Evo so I need to save for like 2-3 months (middle to end of april) and then I'll be ready to purchase one. I want to just buy it, not finance it. So hopefully there are some still left around that time.

Have you sat on a B-king? I tried it out last time I went by the dealership. I think one of the problems with the bike is it only fits if you're small or medium size. If you're big like me (6'1"), your legs may not fit in behind the bulges where the air intakes are. The bike was apparently designed by small people.

What the hell isnt in the bike industry? I swear all the manufacturers hire only midgets, especially gear makers.
Always ask why.

5'7", I finally got something going for me over all you giants. I'm a little worried about the seat height but I could manage on an R1 which I believe is taller. I know the B-king has a wider seat but I think all be okay.
