I sat at work for 6 1/2 hours with no computer... so I twiddled my thumbs... Actually I FINALLY cleaned my desk and filed a bunch of my papers.

Last night there was major power surge that fried the building's power cables so all the IT went down. It took 2/3 of a day for everything to get back up and running. Crazy!

but with two jobs, will you ever get time to ride a bike?

woke up early so i could stop and get breakfast before i manned my friend's shop while she went to the auto auction this morning, made an appointment to get my hair cut at her sister's new salon, and then got in my uniform and came in to work, where i've been since. it's been a real exciting birthday for me.

I'd rather have a bike and not have time to ride than have plenty of time to ride and no bike... At least I could ride it to work and back!

this is very true, Wrider. i hadn't ridden in over a week and on the way in today i was struck by the thought that the best way to appreciate even just riding to work is to go a week without riding.

and blues, i'm sorry that the chiropractor isn't helping. the one i went to didn't help much for a while either but over time it made a difference and helped to relieve some of the discomfort while i recovered...and my crash was pretty minor. give it time, i guess, which feels like an awfully useless thing to say right now. :(
