Wow, you make me feel like an old-timer. But I'd still consider myself a bit of a noob. I need to spend hours just riding through a clover exit ramp thingie and learning to lean the bike.

I think I posted a while ago that it seemed like you weren't all that into the B-King, I'm curious to see if you like this one better of if you turn out to be like a woman with a shoe fetish :P
You know, I resemble that remark! I mean there isn't any chance I own more shoes and sneakers than my wife does. Well, she's not really girly, so I have an excuse. I was actually toying with the idea that I'd have a different bike every year - since there is no way in hell that I could own more than one bike (money, insurance (money, again), space in the garage).

Next time around though, I'd need to have better finances, because I'm sure I'd have to supply cash. Then again, you never know I might find a way to do a swap - similar to what I did this time around.

ABS, a Honda, are some of the things I definitely want. I love Honda cars and my wife thinks I think rainbows come out of their tailpipes, but that goes for cars - who knows about bikes.

And as I gain weight I have to debate if I'm going to need a bra.... Damn, I need to hit the gym.

Some pics of the bike, my boys and me using a timer on the camera. Let there be no claims of not enough pictures. I do wonder if that is a custom windscreen - seems rather large and I had no problems with wind on my initial ride.

A nice rubber coating that goes over the entire bike might help me out the most.

No no no no no no don't do that!

 Sad part is I have seen a stunt bike fully covered in Rhino Lining. It seemed to work great, except of course for adding 30 lbs to the bike.

And wow, the gray hair, the little kids, who's grandkids did you kidnap?

we don't get the nekked's here in the u.s. that hasn't stopped people from ripping the fairings off and ordering the nekked headlights from europe... or simply putting a different headlight on.

you can see it in the pic i posted. if you look close enough you can actually see my highway pegs. i know, highway pegs on a fazer! but they are handy on longer trips.

There are a couple of bikes out there done up in Rhino Liner. Apparently, if you live on a gravel or dirt road it chews up motorcycle paint.

The below one is apparently "duplicolor rattlecan bedliner paint"
Image

And a thread on using bedliner paints on a bike.

Oh and :shooting:
I'm only 38 years old and I'm preternaturally turning gray. "pee" off. :) (and no, its not the first time I've heard that. One of the girls at work was so astonished to find out that I was actually younger than she was...)

Actually, there was this one time I was with my then 78 year old father-in-law, my boys (before the girls were born) and the waitress was asking what everyone wanted and she looked at me and said "And what will you have grandpa?" You gotta be kiddin' me.

Now, could I bring myself to paint bedliner on such a great blue bike... Well, I certainly could do it, but would I do it... Not today, anyway!
