What did you do today...
Re: What did you do today...
I stowed my bike last October for the winter. I left the battery in place and was pretty sure that it would have to be charged up to-day. I laid out my tools in order to remove the battery. However I thought I might as well try to start it first. Put the key in turned it on and the various lights came on. Hit the starter and nothing. tried the horn and was rewarded with good sound. Aha I thought, check the kill switch. Sure enough once I turned it off the bike started right off. Well to be honest I had to crank it over several times, but amazinly there was more than ample juice to do that.
I was a might disappointed that the wash fairies had not done their job as the bike was just as dirty as when I covered it in October.
Still all in all a good day. Next rake the weed field that I call a lawn.

Yay! Glad it started! And it's probably because you didn't leave any scented candles for the wash fairies, they particularly enjoy aromatherapy ones...
And no didn't get a Busa this weekend... Don't have the money for it yet.
But I did get to ride a 97 YZF1000 (Precursor to the R1) and an 07 Aprilia RSV Mille that my buddy just picked up. Lucky SOB got it for 11K with 1500 miles on it. That's a fun bike though. Supremely race-styled positioning, but so docile in town it's like riding a GS500. Then when you open it up it's definitely a literbike!

Went down to a local you-brew and started a batch of Reisling for some late summer enjoyment...
Had to do the sprinkle of yeast to make the whole process legal, now it's all about waiting...

Re: What did you do today...
Andrea and I went to the lake today and relaxed, watched some ducks, Canadian Geese, Swans and some other strange birds that dived under the water and looked like Partridges. Never seen birds who did that and they stayed under for about 2 mins too.
Tomorrow we are going to be putting in a small Pork shoulder into the over for Easter dinner, "baking" a no-bake Banoffie Pie and of course hiding Easter Eggs around the house tomorrow for our annual easter egg hunt.
Baaa! (Sheep like chocolate eggs too)

The Easter bunny did indeed visit our house, and thanks to that I had all the permission I needed to just sit around the couch and eat chocolate all morning. LOL!
