A couple pics of my VTX

#1 Unread post by HITAMUDHOLE »

I finally got all my parts in for the bike so I snapped a couple pics. Mods include grips w/stiletto ends, stiletto fork ends, Mustang seat w/ backrest for driver, Tornado air intake, stage III jet kit, Cobra 2" drag pipes, clear tailight lens, chrome bullet turn signals F&R,Arlen Ness mirrors, custom cut front fender, cut off all BS where the tag is mounted and mounted tag right under fender, all emblems/stickers/reflectors taken off of course.
many more mods planned for this winter. 8)

What do you guys think so far?

looks expensive, but pretty.

*edit* does it have turn signals on the front? I cannot seem to find them. And how do you like the pullback bars? My friend loves his, but they've always felt a little odd to me.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I like it. I'm partial to black...my eyes aren't playing tricks are they? Well, if it's dark blue, that's good too! Very nice, tasteful mods. Good job!
Ride safe...God bless!

Pretty sure I can pick out the front signals mounted on the headlight bucket, Skooter. All that chrome tends to blind me, though.....
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

looks like the front signals are mounted on the side of the headlight shell Jeff.

little tiny bullet lights that you won't see with the headlight on

The signals are 35w halogens so they are actually very visibal. Funny thing is I don't worry about things in front of me when I'm turning as much as from behind.

Thanks for the good feedback. Yes the bars are comfortable for me but I am 6'1 so I have some pretty long arms. I have read shorter guys didn't like them as well.

Yea. I see 'em there too. Though I am of the belief you can never have too much chrome. :D
