Grant and Susan Johnson rode a BMW R80GS around the world for 11 years, across 5 continents and 39 countries. Awesomely inspiring!

If anyone ever wonders why the dual sport category exisits just look at some of those roads or lack there of. Be one hell of an adventure that'd I'd like give a go.

I wish I could do something like that. Hell, it would be great just to make it across country and back again.

An Ural sounds perfect for that kinda trip. 2WD, carbs, tubes, lots of load capacity, plus you're not as worried by difficult surfaces (like a frozen lake, as seen in the website).
