Street trackers

#1 Unread post by XB08 »

I keep looking at the new Honda shadow and think this would make a great street tracker. might be even able to use parts made for a sportster to make it into one. I love my Buell but this would be a great 2nd bike.

Street-legal bike that looks kinda like a dirt tracker racebike. Think street legal XR750, kind of like that.

I gotcha. Though a shadow doesn't seem like the best bike to convert to one. But I guess anything could be done

The new Shadow RS looks very much like a Sportster, and wouldn't be too hard to make into a street tracker. Raise the rear suspension to sharpen up the head angle (still looks kinda slack), carve some poundage off it, fit a 'tracker tailsection, and find a different exhaust system... you're ready for Ascot.

Yo aint kidding man...if you photoshopped an evolution engine in there, i'd say it was a sporty.
