Prostate Cancer
I signed up to ride the local "Westcoast Ride to Live" a fund raising ride supporting Prostate Cancer research and education. My goal is to raise $1000 and would love some help doing so. Feel free to go to the link and "Lend a Hand"

Thanks in advance to anybody that feels so inclined...

Re: Prostate Cancer
Out of curiosity Doc, why are there now two rides, the original Ride For Dad which is in August this year and this new Ride For Life. I've heard a few rumours but noting concrete.
Always ask why.

Re: Prostate Cancer
May I reply?
Apparently the Ride for Dad had some funds stolen and the funds that were not stolen went back east. So...this new ride was created with better checks and balances and the money stays here on the west coast....I think...
It is a registered charity and should have a few hundred riders turn out.

Re: Prostate Cancer
Hopefully I will have my bike back up and running in time for the ride. Nice to see they ditched the North Van route and returned to Port Moody and then Harrison Lake. The first two legs of last years ride really sucked, although parading through the East End, Downtown core and up over the Lions Gate Bridge was sort of cool. Weirdest thing saw on the ride last year, some hooker flashing her goodies at the pack as it went by.....shudder......blues2cruise wrote:May I reply?
