Re: The Blog of Blues
Due to a bad cold this week, I have not been riding my motorcycle. You now how it is when you have a cold. Your head is somewhat muddled, senses skewed, judgement off, reactions slow....
I should be riding on the weekend though.
What I did do was to take my pledge forms to work over 2 days and raised $300.00 toward the battle against prostate cancer. There is a motorcycle ride on May 30 called The Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live. It is a fundraiser ride for battling prostate cancer. So many men still need educating about the importance of getting checked....and no...the check up does not make you gay....it does not imply you are homosexual......and yes, some of the men I have talked to have the response about not being homophobic, however.....sigh.....It is true that nobody likes to get poked and prodded, however, early detection can save your life.
I started a personal page on the Ride to Live in the eventuality more people can help if they feel inclined.

Hey Blues
Prostrate check is now a blood test called a PSA, no need for the rubber glove any more. But hey what ever floats your boat over there.
Eish and you call us a backward country.

I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I am so going to smack my doctor.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
