I said that's interesting you just sent me a bill can you look it up with the account number or my email address. was told no only by the phone number gave phone number again sorry account doesn't exist  So I had to borrow my moms connection to fill out an online form for service. I'll be contacted by phone or email in 48 hours. They'll have to fix it before they can do that.
At least they didn't tell you to send them an e-mail via your nonexistent internet connection!

Gee, I thought only USA cable companies acted like that...... so much for my fond illusions of Canadian efficiency...

No when you run a monopoly Only one phone company and one cable company so customer service goes out the window because there is no other choice.

They sent me an email to state to do further trouble shooting to call on my phone (that doesn't have a dial tone and is provided by them via an online form stating I'm having trouble with my digital phone service for no dial tone. :frusty: ) a service representative. Which if I did call would be please hook up the computer directly to the cable modem. Plug the phone in and out try a different phone cord etc. The same BS stuff that wastes time. To push me until next week when a tech will be most likely scheduled later in the week.

Of course doesn't help I was tech support for 8 years before I got laid off. I think I know the drill already  Just send me a new "procreating" modem already or send a tech out to fix it. I have power cycled the equipment already believe me swtiched phone cords and tried a different router and took existing router to a different location with working cable Internet and it works fine. UGGGG. :shooting:

Sure do! Skinny, yes, but steady on with the 'little.' I'm 6 foot. That kinda makes the skinny even skinnier, yeah! I come from a long line of jockeys.

I made a pledge page for the Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live. It's a fundraiser ride to help the fight against prostate cancer.

I decided that instead of just paying my registration, I would also try to raise donations for the cause.

I took my pledge forms to work and raised $300.00 over 2 days.

No, you want to keep the prostate healthy so that other thing can raise.   :)

Thanks for the compliment. The picture is almost 3 years old now. I was trying on a new bike for size.

Good Grief! Wrider. Is that what you look like? How wrong can a bloke's imagination be!

I imagined some kind of urbanised mountain man. Oh how the mighty are fallen!

Or is that just you humanising him, blues?
