Looking for independant tire review website

#1 Unread post by flw »

I'm looking for a independent web site that reviews the longevity of bike tires by mfg and model. Does such a thing exist? Anything from insurance companies?

I am looking for a organizational review that uses the same standards for all tires rather than individuals with as many different standards as individuals.

Well those British publications are always doing tire testing to see how they fare in corners, at speed, and anything else that may come to mind.

visordown.com

bikemagazine.co.uk

I subscribed to these magazines and they have a good in depth review of tires and sometimes a several page tire shoot out with multiple brands and models from each brand.

GSJack also gave me a link to an archived article when I was deciding on getting the BT45 set. http://www.ex-500.com/wiki/index.php/Tire_Comparison

This one was scan from Bike magazine (UK). It even gave wear rates after 100 miles of testing.
