sorry but you cant assume that since the bible doesnt state anything about dinosaurs thus the bible neither proves nor disproves the existance of dinosaurs. so your point is incredibly off point and doesnt even create a point of what you were trying to say because it doesnt work.

actually you should read my edit. I realized after I posted that I screwed up and forgot about a few chapters in genesis that does prove dinosaurs existed.

Ofblong. I'm sorry, but I have to come in here. As far as I am concerned anyone can believe anything the hell they like, no-matter how ridiculous. And they can make up whatever illogical and overdetermined arguments they like to support their belief. But some things are just too ridiculous for words - like the idea that the bible is always right or that it referred to dinosaurs or that we don't know how long ago dinosaurs were wiped out. I've read your links. Only someone who desperately, desperately wanted to believe these things could be convinced by those kinds of childish arguments which are more full of holes than a kitchen sieve. Far from being right, the bible is full of the most ridiculous inconsistencies and absurdities, as anyone with eyes can see. It has some great stories, but that is all most of them are. I've debated by evangelicals on their websites and been gobsmacked by the number of porkies they are willing to tell (and believe) to defend their faith. The art of self-delusion is not dead.

Transitional forms are rare because all fossilisation is rare - it occurs only under very specific and unusual conditions. Statistically the chances of finding transitional forms is minute. And to say that "many fossil experts admit that not one unquestionable transitional form...has been found anywhere", is pure unadulterated fantasy.

As for the transitional fossils, themselves, look up Tiktaalik or Archeopteryx, for example, just two of the more well-known examples. And we have, by luck, a spectacularly good and detailed collection of fossils showing the evolution of whales from land animals.

I've seen this assertion about transitional fossils repeated over and over again in all kinds of evangelical publications. In fact, it would take only the most cursory search of the web or a quick dip into any half decent book on evolution to blow it out of the water. It's clear that evangelicals don't want to make that search because they don't want to foul themselves with anything that contradicts their faith - as many are prepared to openly admit.

You can believe what the hell you like, ofblong, but please don't push this dishonest rubbish onto other people as though it were the truth.
