why ask why? IMO i like the C50. More of a cruiser looking bike and fuel injection doesnt suck i bet. i wouldnt know, i still have carbs. Either would be nice especially if you are buying new. Have you sat on both at a dealer to see which is more comfortable yet?

Depends...if someone will be tagging along buy the C50...if flying solo, go with the S50.

yeah I sat on them. The C sure feels good but I can sure tell the weight difference but I guess you get used to it.

This months issue of Canadian Biker has a comparisson of the two. I'm headed to work now, but I'll post the major differences later.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Thanks but it appears that the article referrs to the M-50 and the C-50. I was comparing the C-50 to the S-50.

My dad has the C50, and I've ridden it several times...even two-up with my cousin, Tiffany, on the back. It's a great bike and is rather roomy for its displacement. But again, if I were going to ride solo (like I do now) and had to choose between the two I'd go for the S50 (or the M50, but it's apparently not a contender).

I'm going for the S50. That bike is just to cool for words.

I'd go with M50 as well. Actually C50 is my first choice until I sat on it (a little bit too big at that time; hint I was new). I don't like the S50 style. It is kind of old standard look.
