You gotta picture the training.

"You have to trust your fellow officer and motorcyclist. There will be times you are directed to ride straight at your fellow rider - you must trust that we have all done our jobs right and you will intersect their path and that you are not on an intercept course!"

Or something like that. When you watch the vid closely you do notice they aren't perfect - speeding up slowing down and stuff like that, but to me a lot of what they are doing - especially moving directly at one another - takes more testicles than popping a wheelie. Not that I've popped a wheeling more than once, but that's what I mean, anyway.

Wow! I usually find that kind of close formation riding pretty ana (as evidenced by the suits.) I felt the same way about the opening of the Chinese Olympics. And it doesn't surprise me that the police and other state "services" seem to be particularly fond of it.

But it takes some nerve and riding skill to carry it off on this scale so I found myself being impressed in spite of myself.

very cool. I have seen the Oakland police do something simlar....these guys can ride!
