Re: More money than brains - a common story.
The day I was picking up my Kawasaki from the dealer a woman from Calgary was there picking up her new to her but second had Ducatti....she paid $50,000 for it. She flew in and rode it home. It's the same bike as portrayed in that movie.
The guy in the movie is very much like the squids around....I guess that's the whole point.

Re: More money than brains - a common story.
Years ago I was in the local Yamaha/Suzuki shop and some guy was there to buy the FZR1000 because it would go 175mph(on the speedometer) he kept saing that over and over to his friends, as he was sitting down with the salesman one of his friends looking at a GSX-R1100 yelled out "this one goes 190", so he changed his mind and wanted the GSXR, I left so I don't know if he really bought it or not, but the funny thing I had a bunch of magazines comparing them and the FZR ran 166mph to the GSXR's 160, so he was just making his choice based off what it said on the speedometer, not that there is anything wrong with picking the Suzuki (I wanted one too back then but I was only 15 or 16 years old) it just seemed like a dumb reason to pick a bike.
