I still remember the day that SRV died. I had spent my teenage years locked in my room learning how to play guitar and the majority of it was with albums of him. What a loss. The good news was it forced me to get out there and realize that what he had been doing had been done long before(even if they had a little different soul when they played it). He sure introduced alot of kids in the eighties to what it was all about though. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to have a Wiskey and "coke" for breakfast  .
