Rookie restoration - Stupid question #2

1985 Ninja 600

How to I efficiently get to the rear tail light to swap bulbs? Do I have to tear down the seat (remove rear seat) and mounts right down to the rear fender to get at the tailight? Is there a quicker way?

I'm pretty sure that you unscrew two Phillips headed fasteners to remove the lens. Then push the bulb in while turning it, and the bulb comes out of the socket.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Hello
It's been a while, but I'm sure that you remove the rear seat and half turn the bulb holder from the back (there are 2 of them) then remove replace bulbs. There is a plastic box (for tools etc) that you probably have to remove also. .. then you should be able to reach in and half turn the sockets to remove. I don't think you have to remove fender. As I remember, getting them back in, in the confined space was the hardest part.
