A scene from today's ride
It was -17C with strong winds and snow squalls this morning - perfect weather for an Ural ride! Did a 100km loop around the back roads of Grey County and enjoyed every minute of it, especially the part where I pulled into the local Shell station on the way home and surprised a group of snowmobilers refueling at the pumps:

It isn't WHAT you ride,

Not this time, no. His health has been rapidly declining since last fall, although we've managed to slow it down somewhat with medication. He's lost a lot of weight and has become quite frail, so I don't want to risk taking him in the sidecar until he and the weather show some improvement.Wrider wrote:Didja take the WonderDog with you this time? I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Holy crap Gummy. You're either the most hardcore badazz rider I've ever seen, or clinically insane. Remind me not to complain about my 0C ride anymore.

OMG you're crazy!
Your picture reminds me of those MasterCard commercials...
Snowmobile - $12,000
Fuelling the snowmobile at a remote Shell station - $30
Seeing a Ural pull up beside... Priceless!
