Alright, so I've had this bike for a couple of months, and when I first got it, it ran and shifted perfectly. Then I parked it for a week or two. After sitting for a bit, I went out to ride it. However, once I got it running and tried to shift into first, The bike would just stall.
I talked to a friend of mine who has owned a couple of Maxims of that era, and he gave me some ideas. I tried adjusting the clutch cable, and changing the oil, but I still cant get it into first! Please help me out, I want to get my baby back into riding condition.
