Just passed the 10000 mark for this years riding

#1 Unread post by scan »

I bought the ZRX with 900 miles on it in August. I now have just passed 12000 which means with less than a year of ownership I did more than 10000 miles. I knew it was coming, but it passed without fanfare, balloons, or celebration. But just like every other moment in the saddle, it passed with a high level of joy and the dreams of many more miles to come.

Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

I've had the Meanie exactly one year yesterday, and managed to put just over 9,000 miles on her so far. No problems whatsoever to date.

Had mine for a year last month and only put 7800 miles on it but they were ALL so enjoyable. I put 12,500 miles on my 95' CBR 600 the first year I had it, needless to say it cost me a fiance, but it was all worth it! (she wasn't right for me anyways  )

No wonder you're never home!! I'm just glad you're getting off with the bike and not another woman. :inlove:

I've had my Meanstreak since late March of this year, and have just under 4,000 miles on it. My year-to-date riding total is at about 9,000 miles.

Cheers,
Loonette

Glad to hear you're really out there and riding the bike. I just hit 8,000 miles yesterday, and have only had the bike for 4 months lol (10 miles on when bought). It's also is my only form of transportation and already took a 2,500 mile trip on it so that really helps rack up the miles. I'm trying to see if I can get 20,000 miles on it by next March.

Congrats, I really believe that experiance only comes with saddle time, and a bit of training. I hate sunday morning only riders who think they have what we have.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
