). I am Orthodox and it is a common prayer, the Catholic church uses it as well so it is surprising sometimes who recognizes it, and who does not. The second I got when I was 16 or 17, and is fairly obvious. If it is not clear, the first is on my wrist (bottom) and second on my shin.I would love to get something on my other shin for my Russian heritage, but it will be a little while before I need another tattoo, and I have no idea yet what to get.
I know piercings are sometimes related, my ears are pierced (funny story actually, left one got done when I was thirteen and wanted to die my hair and my parents said no, so I figured I would suggest something worse to make it sound okay, and they were both okay with getting my ear pierced, go figure... had the other one done when I turned eighteen). But wear nothing in either, have my left eyebrow pierced twice about a cm apart or so... and despite regularly pledging to take them out, I have fallen in complete love with them and refuse thus far
