Oh we're going for a comprehensive list?
Add the Burgman 650 to that.
Add the Yamaha Majesty
Add the Honda Silverwing

And if you're willing to do a bit of modifying, the Honda Ruckus can do it as well.

Add the Kymco 500 Exciting to the list and then compare prices against the others.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Dirt Dobber is correct , the larger diamater tires on the Tmax makes it the best handling super scooter out there, the Honda Silver Wing and the Suzuki 650 Burgman are faster than the Tmax but the Tmax is much better in ride quality and handling, the Tmax is better balanced where you can hold it up while stopped at a red light without your feet on the ground.
The Tmax is a much better engineered design while the Burgman and Silver Wing is an older, or old school scooter design, the Tmax centers all its weight at the bottom center of gravity and the Tmax uses the same front brake system as the R6, think of the Tmax as the sport bike, or crotch rocket of the scooter family.
I have experience riding the Burgman and it was my first choice before buying the Tmax but I only bought the Tmax because the Suzuki Dealers were a**holes and they made it impossible for me to buy one, so I was stuck buying the Tmax and I am very happy with it

Yet again incorrect...
It uses an "R6 inspired front brake". IOW it's got a disc brake with multiple pots (too lazy to look up exact specs at the moment.)
If it had the same front brake it'd require a 17 inch front wheel like the R6 has just to clear the rotor and caliper.

Oh, and all of them can be held up at a traffic light with your feet on the ground. Not sure where you were going with that.

Wrider,,marvin was talking about balanceing it stopped at a light with no feet on ground at all, i couldn't do it myself but, i heard about some one doing it for 15 seconds. i only rode mine 8300 miles. if you want to know about tmax & have a Yahoo account go to tmaxusa: Tmax USA.

Oh then I apologize, I misread that. But in fairness, most can do it if they have good balance even on sportbikes with super high COGs.

Don't worry, eventually you'll get there! Oh and low COG is harder to balance at a light. As a point to prove it, take a mop or broom or something like that, balance it upright on the handle end, then balance it on the mop/broom head end. You'll find it's not hard to balance on the handle end but a lot harder on the head end.
