The unfathomable abuse of slaves (

) notwithstanding, the Pyramids hands down. Considering the time period, the engineering accomplishment of building the Pyramids is absolutely mind boggling.
Which is more intriguing?
A. Greek Gods and Mythology?
or
B. Roman Gods and Mythology?
Actually, while the use of slaves to build the pyramids happened, those slaves were usually captured POWs or convicted criminals. The truth was they were built mainly by skilled hired labour. They were in many way the first of Government sponsored mega-projects designed to show off the wealth and skill of the nation while providing employment to the the masses and generating massive economic spin offs. And it worked. Entire villages were created to house and support the work force and the skills and trades required to build them were passed down from father to son. When you consider the skills needed to build such monuments, you quickly realize that you could not do it with slave labour. On a related note, contrary to the bible story of the Exodus, there is very little mentioned in the surviving Egyptian records regarding the Jews. And the Egyptians were great ones for keeping record of even the most mundane of statistics.
As for the question, I have to go with A. The Greeks were the originators of that Mythology and the Roman just copied it word for word, although they did change the names of the Titans, Gods, Demi-Gods and Heros. Again, that is what was where the Romans true genius lay, in their ability to copy and make their own other peoples ideas, technology and ways of doing things. Almost the entire fabric of Roman civilization came from those they either took over or traded with, and this include Christianity. The Holy Roman Empire was basically the old Roman Empire given a new mythology to follow. And if you want to see anchent Roman Court or Religious ceremonies, you just have to attend either a Roman Catholic or Church of England high mass.
In keeping with the religious tone, if the regilions of Abraham (Jeudaism, Christianity & Islam) never took hold, which religion would appeal to you?
A) Buddhism
B) Paeganism
