I have always been interested in the adventure touring bikes. I rode the R1200 GS and liked it quite a bit. I would probably spend 95% or more of my time on the pavement and if I did go off road it would only be well maintained gravel or fire roads, I think I'll still look at the dual sports when it comes time to retire my FJR.
