on a road trip last two day (about 200 miles), in some direction wind was worse than others directions, i put my hand on top of my helment things cleared up quiet a bit, then i pulled clutch in at 65 mph that didn't help so, it's not the motor that causes the viberation, it's the wind comming up under my helment. i put my hand under handle bar in front of tank, that a big opening, a lot of wind. the only sulition i've come up with that might help is a different windshield.
has anybody tryed this windshield? (picture below). Oh, i have a H-D sportster 1200 custom.

Re: H-D viberation
I just drove a few hours to get a plexistar 2 for my magna. I installed it right in the mans yard and then took the long way home. I drove a while on an interstate at about 75 mph and it was great. It gave great coverage and I did not notice any noises from it. The top vents on my helmet do get a little wind noise now cause they are in the stream from the shield. (helmet issue not shield and not very much noise either) I wish I had found this shield for my nighthawk instead of the magna. I wanted a small shield like the spitfire for the magna. this was so cheap I could easily resell it if I didn't like it. Turns out I am really happy with it. I believe I will remove it for July and August though as I like the wind when its that hot. This gives really good coverage that would be great for long days on the road. I felt a lot less wind on my legs and no direct wind on my hands. The area around the headlight cut out could have been made better. I do not like when a "direct fit" part is cut for a round and square headlight. It should be made specific to the machine its made for. This was the only thing I could find to complain about so far. I also like the mount set up I will be able to remove and install it quickly and not have to go through the aggravating part of getting it set just right each time. I believe the fairing you are looking at is even more coverage than mine. My personal opinion is this is the most coverage I would want and maybe a little more than I want....
