Here are a few....and in keeping with the motorcycle theme...there are two in the mix.
I found out after I got to the Quilchena that there is no cell service in the area. I had to drive back 5km to be able to send a message that I had arrived ok. I pulled into the driveway of the local firefighting base and turned the car around. I saw the moon scape....so I moved my car over to the other side and posed it.

My first night in the Quilchena area (near Merritt, BC) I was out taking a couple of sunset snaps over the lake. I heard the distinct sound of a motorcycle coming so I swung around and saw the bike coming. I stood in the ditch to get this. I wasn't prepared for action shots, but this turned out ok.

Same night in the Quilchena. The lake is Nicola Lake.

The area is mostly ranchland. Rolling hills and grassy. I had the camera on the tripod at this point because the light was fading fast.

In the morning I stopped along the way a few times to get some scenics.

I was driving on the Icefields Parkway (that is the highway in the Rockies that joins Lake Louise and Jasper Alberta. I saw the motorcycle behind me and then as he past and got ahead, I took the picture with my compact camera through the windshield. It is a Victory Vision.

A couple of scenics in the Rocky Mountains
This one was through the windshield also. Gotta love the compacts for this kind of thing.

I was not planning on making any stops on my way back becuase of the snow and fog. This was through the windshield again by Glacier Park Lodge.

After about an hour of driving in the snow, hail and fog it cleared up a bit. I saw the yellow trees so I had to stop.....I got out of the car and used the DSLR to take the picture. You can see that the sky is still white. It was still threatening to snow or rain...but for a few minutes it was nice. It started to rain again shortly after getting back in my car. It rained/sleeted for quite a while.

That should keep sapaul happy for a day or two.

More pics soon.
