I got a parking ticket. Ugh. I stopped by my co workers house to razz him for not making it to work (he's got a Xmas party going on) went inside for 15 minutes and returned to my truck seeing at "impeding snow removal by parking on the street ticket" boo. There's not even enough snow to plow yet. Lol. Oh well. 35 bucks down the tubes. That'll teach me to not go right home after work.

I bought a Christmas tree and a stand and some decorations and some lights. I have not had a Christmas tree for many years....but the special person in my life thought it would be nice to have one since I am hosting Christmas dinner for friends.
He is outside now prepping the trunk and trimming the bottom branches....
Wow...going to a tree lot sure does smell good.

Re: What did you do today...
Sampled my first-ever batch of home brewed ale. Mrs. Stark gave me a home brew kit for Christmas last year, and we got around to making a batch in early November. We bottled it two Saturdays ago and now it's ready. It is an English pale ale (bitter). It's amazingly good, considering I had no idea what I was doing!!
Just goes to show those home brew kits from Williams are foolproof if you follow the directions.
The only problem is, having super-fresh home brewed ale around is going to ruin me for store bought bottled beer.....

Blasted through JHB traffic again on the R12 ..................................
and went for a Hep A and a Yellow fever injection ......................... blurg
The nurse said, " it's just a little prick"
to which I replied
"How do you know, I haven't dropped my pants yet"
She was not impressed, by my comments nor when I dropped my pants

I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
