Re: What did you do today...
Asking around, I've discovered it's pretty common for BT-021's on Trophys and other heavy sport-tourers, FJR's, Concours, etc. I've heard good things about the Pilot Roads, so it's time to branch out and try something different (all 3 of my bikes have always run Bridgestones.)Wrider wrote:I'd check the suspension if the front is cupping that fast.

I absolutely love my Pilot Road 2's. A friend put them on his Bandit 1200, he loves them, too. Phenomenal in the wet and cold, but with softer compound on the sides for grip when leaned over.jstark47 wrote:Asking around, I've discovered it's pretty common for BT-021's on Trophys and other heavy sport-tourers, FJR's, Concours, etc. I've heard good things about the Pilot Roads, so it's time to branch out and try something different (all 3 of my bikes have always run Bridgestones.)Wrider wrote:I'd check the suspension if the front is cupping that fast.

I love mine as well, although I am not seeing the same exceptional life that I experienced with the Original Pilot Roads. I am not sure how they would work out on a heavy bike however....Ninja Geoff wrote: I absolutely love my Pilot Road 2's. A friend put them on his Bandit 1200, he loves them, too. Re: What did you do today...
I'll keep you posted...my MT-01 is 550lbs bike and I just put a fresh set of Pilot Road 2 on before my crash...only got about 800kms on them...(the crash was rider error, not tire issues)High_Side wrote:I love mine as well, although I am not seeing the same exceptional life that I experienced with the Original Pilot Roads.
