Re: What did you do today...
Started the new year with a NYE jam session - featuring my son on drums with some other experienced players and he did a great job. Woke up with a headache for some reason....

Re: What did you do today...
Figured out that my Dakota's A, B, and C pillars are extraordinarily strong...
Came around a corner on a dirt road, engine revved unexpectedly, like a moron I went and re-engaged the clutch, corrected, disengaged, and slammed on the brakes, ended up hitting the soft shoulder and rolled it down a 4 foot embankment. Landed on it's wheels.
Thanking God right now that my buddy and I were ok, literally a bruise on his hip was the only injury that's come to light so far. A good portion of the glass was smashed out, but the pillars held up like champs and the doors were even operational afterwards. Truck still ran, moved, even the alignment looked good still, so that says something about the underpinnings of it.

It sucks to hear about your truck but at least you didn't get hurt. Now it's only $$$....

Re: What did you do today...
I helped to secure my Christmas tree to the roof rack of my friend's car.....then he took it to annual tree chipping event put on by the firefighters. It is by donation...the money they raise goes to their burn fund.
Although Christmas and NY were fun...I am glad to see them go away now. I put my Canucks flag back in its place.....
Then late this afternoon, I went to my sister's for supper and then played with the nephew and read him a couple of bed time stories....He was so wound up from all the Christmas stuff...going back to school tomorrow will be good for him. He's in Kindergarten.

Re: What did you do today...
Have waited in for the tinternet engineer to connect me to wireless hub.
Should make it easier & quicker to transfer photos from old computer (via wireless dongle) to my shiny new laptop.
So as soon as I have worked out how to do it..............................

Re: What did you do today...
Went to lunch with one of my brothers, then we went shopping at a tool outlet.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I watched a new show called Bomb Girls. First episode tonight. I liked it.
