I showed up to a girl's house one time, and was taking her on her first date ever. Her dad and brothers are all gun nuts, so her dad is cleaning a shotgun as I walk into the living room. Me also being a gun nut, I showed him how to pull off the barrel (I have two of the same shotgun) so he could really get into the nooks and crannies until the shocked look on his face told me he did it to scare me... hahaha We got along great after that!

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Sorry man, I didn't mean to be a dork...having kids is busy, and the more you have the busier you are...four is the number I wanted, I believe in even numbers keeps the fighting down somewhat...but after natural twins (no fertility drugs required), the doctor told us that "multiples were very likely"...my respose was, "twins...again...??"...he said "NO, M U L T I P L E S"...OOooooo, no we're good...as you know, most vehicles are made with two kids in mind...a five seater is almost rare...try to find a convertible that seats five...(wifey really wants one...maybe when we have no kids at home...so 15 more years...??)

So three it is...and the family name ends with me, the last male in the line...but my sisters each have two and they are all boys, just a different last name...wouldn't trade my girls for anything though...

Later.

Well, it wasn't today, but Friday. I got off work in the morning, went to my lady friend's place for a nap and a shower, then drove out to the Abbotsford airport. I parked in the long term lot and instead of going to the airport, I headed across the street to the Tradex center where I enjoyed about three hours of the Vancouver International Motorcycle Show... Ordered a new helmet, http://www.sharkhelmetstore.com/shark-e ... lmets.html , I hope it fits well although if it doesn't, it just stays in the store and it will sell.

After the show,I walked over to the airport and hopped on a plane to Calgary, where I'm staying at my eldest daughter's house for a week so I can take in both of my grandson's birthday parties. Yesterday was the youngest one's, (Noah 1yr) and next Sunday will be the eldest's, ( Evan 6yr)

So THAT is what they call it now :righton:

Well done on the Shark helmet too. I am glad to hear that they are back in Canada after dropping outta the market for a few years. I love mine, but had to get Mike to get me parts from the UK when I lost a vent cover last year....

Have had a great weekend off meeting up with friends & an impromtu party last night.

Helped fella wash & polish the Rocket III ready to escort his mates cortege on Wednesday. I am not riding that day, partly because my bike is not taxed, but mainly because I think it more appropriate that Mournful is escorted by 3 longterm biker dudes & I would rather watch them arrive than be watched.

Hoping that there will be a big turnout & I expect at least some of the old crowd to be on bikes. I was asked tonight if I will be taking photos, but am unsure as I think it could be disrespectful. My compromise would be no photos at the Crematorium but maybe at the pub afterwards. I'm going to take my camera & leave it in car until I decide.

What do you guys think?

There is likely to be a large reunion of many old faces so in some ways it would be good to record it but could be perceived as in poor taste.

I went to the motorcycle show. :)

I ordered new custom earplugs....and...I signed up for a refresher day at RoadCraft Motorcycle Academy....

Mogster.....as for pics at the ceremony.....ask the family how they feel about it. If they are ok with it, then go for it....his final ride, so to speak.

Shoveled snow and scraped ice off my drive way...added power steering fluid to the truck, bandaid to get through to warmer days coming this week (then I will replace the PS hose that has a pin hole leak)

Talked to the bike a little, reassured it that winter doesn't last forever and that I will start the work on it soon...(damn procrastination, and wuss about the cold!!)

Complained that the weekend went by too fast...now heading for bed...

Later.

Did a cycling Marshals gig Saturday, first of the year, was up at 5:30 and man, what a pleasure to ride on our roads at that time of the morning. It's summer here so it was 20C even then. The sun was up by the time I was on the road. the route was a familiar one that we know well, motorists were well behaved. It was time trials so nice and quick and it was non stop, very little time for smoke breaks. Had my flip up helmet so I could sneak one in on the run.

This was in the cradle of humankind area, where all human life came from.

"poo poo" must have been a long walk to Canada from here.
