Re: Is the Era of the Motorcycle Over?
Marvin: No one here has made fun of you because you ride a scooter instead of a motorcycle. Where your rant came from is beyond me. You must be dealing with the inner conflict of being a rider but not riding a "real" bike. For several years I rode a Honda Silverwing because with my bad knees I could not swing a leg over a bike and needed a step-through. It was a great ride, but for me, I missed the feel, sound and yes look of a real bike. I bought a mid-sized cruiser and have enjoyed every minute of riding it, even though in many ways it is less capable than my maxi-scooter was. But I didn't buy a motorcycle to gain the admiration of others, I did it for something deep inside me, and only me. I hope you continue to enjoy your ride, whatever it is, but your enjoyment should not be based upon attributing other motives to others who ride a different two wheeled vehicle than you.

Marvin, are you off your meds again.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Re: Is the Era of the Motorcycle Over?
vito? I appoligize if you took my comments personal intended to you, Its not you or anybody on this fourm that makes fun of me for riding a scooter. Maybe I am guilty going to extremes and using strong words judging that everybody that owns a motorcycle is heartless, its just the local people I know that make fun of me. I was wrong thinking that everybody else thinks the same way.

Oh no buddy, don't think that... We judge you just because you randomly rant on motorcycle forums using own version of grammar and spelling.Marvin wrote:vito? That said, the Suzuki cruisers are the best ever, the T-Max is meh at best, and the F150 is only good if it's being used for making money at a scrapyard... I think that should cover it!
