the reason scooters are getting popular is because the majority of the current motorcycle riders are getting older and their weaker physicial demands can't handle that giant cruiser bike anymore and a scooter is the perfect alternative for the ease of riding and getting on and off

You are so full of nonsense. Just because you are weak, does not mean the rest of us are.

Scooters are popular because they are fun and economical.

Hey, now, don't think I agree with that. Scooters make sense in cities. Business takes me into Manhattan every now and again, and scooters rule there! If I lived there, I would ride one - probably a Zuma 125.

The Zuma is a Yamaha BWS here in Canada, right? It's the BWS 50 that I'm thinking of getting for wifey to see if she likes riding...I want to get her out there without having to take her on the back of my bike...yes, selfish, but it is much more fun to ride your own than to be a passenger...and if she doesn't like it, my 13yo daughter is itching to ride a scooter (which she can at 14yo here in Alberta)

I'll have a riding buddy sooner or later!

Later.

I don't see many scooters around the Kansas City Metro area, but I have in St. Joe.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

I bet my Kymco Grand Vista is more fun that a T-Max
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
