bike rack on my sportbike?

my car gets really crappy mileage bout 14mpg. so i don't really wanna invest in a roof rack for it.

my bike is ok... bout 35-38mpg.

anybody tried this before? is it worth it?

Yeah everything you see is definitely custom, but that CBR one is freaking awesome!

That black bottom peice is the Ventura luggage system
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
