Getting back to real life... need a bike!

#1 Unread post by sunshine229 »

Sorry for the massive posts tonight... Mike's been harping that I haven't been on the forums in a really long time (and he's right) so it was only a matter of time before I'd come back and spam the boards with a whole bunch of replies.

I've been really stressed and super busy since the move from London to Houston. No time to do anything fun. In fact, no time to do the things that are important - keeping up on the forums, swimming in the gorgeous pool in our temporary apartment complex, going to the gym... Need I go on?

So now everything is starting to come together for us (house, car) and I'm feeling like I can start getting back into real life again.

This brings me to... buying a bike! I have a list of faves but really don't know which way I'll go. I'm leaning towards a naked but open to some faired models as well. Too many to choose from...
Andrea :sun:

Z1000

I could see you on that
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

There are a lot of R's around but CR is a bit tougher here is one in dallas
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcd/3014578613.html
They have a few problems but all are easily corrected. EBR racing has all the upgrades one would need. They have slipper clutch seal problems easily repaired. They also have stator issues which will set you back a bit but not to much and the bike is a HUGE amount of fun!!!!! Chances are the upgrades are already done anyway.
