Got a special award from my fellow Marshals. Both myself and The Goose were awarded Founder Marshals status in recognition of starting the Marshals in SA

Re: What did you do today...
I have been at a family reunion the last few days. The other day I was a family hero because I put my education to use and rebuilt the carbs on a jet ski before we got on the water. Hadn't run since last fall and I got it running in pretty good order! Everyone who wanted a turn got one and I got to ride one for the first time. I do see why they're so much fun, and I definitely see why stunts on them are so appealing!

Re: What did you do today...
Tore the whole front end of my bike apart tonight...in preparation for the install of new bearings tomorrow!! WOOHOO...can't wait to re-assemble the parts and be able to ride again...
Also had three days of camping with wifey & the kids, dogs too...it was a nice weekend of evening campfire and beer, intermixed with daytime playing with the kids & quiet time for reading...nice and relaxed weekend...
Hope everyone else had a great Canada Day Weekend!!

Re: What did you do today...
I kind of felt the same .............. went to work at 12md today & had left by 1330 (should have been there until 2100). Have felt rather under the weather recently + have an enormous weeping blister on my hand. Thought I should make the effort & go in but 5 mins into my shift I had a senior member of staff shouting at meceemes wrote:Came home from work totally disgusted......and for once not about the traffic......

As I work in surgery my hand injury & the fact I am on antibiotics (therefore immunosuppressed), I am at risk of bacterial infection/endocarditis/ dreaded blood borne viruses. I was prepared to take that risk for the benefit of patients + colleagues (we are short staffed as usual), but after the verbal abuse I thought b*****ks to this & went off sick!

Oh & I am packing to go on another rally this weekend

Re: What did you do today...
I took my sister for a ride on my motorcycle.
Other than the litle kid I took around the block one time....this was my first official ride carrying a passenger.
It was great!
