How's this....my and doc's bike with about 60 others....at the ferry terminal waiting for the ferry.

You can see my shiny blue in the midst of the ratty old vintage bikes. There had been a rally up the coast of these old vintage bikes...some leaking oil, some with kick starts, some that did not want to start...

As you can see, even more bikes arrived so now you can't see mine anymore...

Now...the next challenge...is a challenge to come up with...I'll post it later.

Here is another picture of the chaos on the ferry....these riders did not give a darn about anybody but themselves. The loading is usually much more orderly...but this time it was pure chaos.

Righteous pic Blues, that's a lotta damn bikes!! Rubia and I look forward to the next challenge, although we wonder when everybody else is gonna come in from the sidelines and get some pictures up. (-: (Yes, that's a thrown gauntlet, if you're all wondering.)

I laughed at the one with the plastic bag "Taped" to the sissy bar. It's side stand was so short, the bike would barely stand up. It was so bad, he actually leaned it against the bulkhead so it wouldn't fall over.... You can see it on the ferry picture beside the number 4 painted on the bulkhead...

Oh and by vintage bike, blues means homemade choppers with everything you can imagine as a motor with some bailing wire and duct tape wrapped around it so that it resembled a motorcycle. the majority of those engines were '80's Honda 750 inline 4's, none in great shape, there were a fewpan heads and shovelheads for good measure. The one leaning against the bulkhead was one of the shovelheads, marking it's territory with enough oil to make the exon valdes look like a minor spill. At least he never has to change his oil if he keeps topping it up every few miles... LOL

OK...your bike...with wildlife in the picture. Not domestic animals like dogs and house cats....or farm animals like cows....

Squirrels and jays are wild for example....

Bonus points if the creature is "ON" your bike.

Almost had it!!! My dad rescued a wild turtle from a nasty between asphalt and Goodyears. He asked if we would like a new pet. We aren't the type of people to turn down any kind of scaly or slimy friend so we said what the hell. I got the little guy home, dug trenches and put down bricks in the Aspen grove in the back yard and built him a pond out our kids' old sandbox and wallah, turtle paradise. It was my hubby's (JackoftheGreen) turn to post and him and his shiny steed of chrome were out riding at the time, so I thought it would be cool to let the turtle veg out in his new place until my man got home. Low and behold, TURTLES CAN CLIMB! Haven't seen the darn thing since. And he would have looked so cute on the seat of a Vulcan too. Here's the thing, we live across from a forest inhabited by a herd of deer, the occasional raccoon and all the skunks you can wrinkle your nose at. So you would think some wildlife next to our bikes would be no large feat. Problem is, the damn things are run away from the thunderous boom of Vance & Hines pipes, and you can hear my hubs coming from several blocks away. I suppose we will think of something though??? I love this game, I'm in a hurry to get it going again. Good Luck to all and ride safe.

Looky who was waiting on my bike after work today... He's wild, he's alive, --- wildlife. Sorry Blues this is pathetic but it's the best I can do.

Next Challenge....
Legend tells of an Indian Brave, the son of the chief, who's destiny was to follow in his father's footsteps. This brave fell in love with a beautiful young girl in another tribe. His father had forbidden him to see this lovely girl as it was against tribal law to have any relations with an enemy tribe. Angry at his father, heartbroken and miserable in the thoughts of a future without this girl by his side, that very night the brave snuck into her village and the two lovers ran off together. Both tribes searched for the two by day and mourned their loss, regretting the enforcement of the foolish tribal law by night. The young couple was never found. The name of the girl was lost over time, the brave... his name was Falling Rock. The spirits of the tribes still mourn their losses today. Remember this story every time you see a sign that says 'Watch for Falling Rock', 'Warning Falling Rock', or 'Falling Rock'.
You guessed it, the next Challenge is a pic of your bike next to one of these signs. Be careful pulling over for photoshoots on canyon roads. Have fun, ride safe and good luck.
