Headlight Flashers / Wig-Wags

#1 Unread post by Scoutmedic »

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in trouble shooting....

Is anyone currently running headlight flashers or "wig-wags"? Also, did you install them yourself or have a dealer install them? (For anyone not familiar with what I'm talking about, they make your headlight alternate between high beam and low beam.)

I'm familiar with them from being in EMS and firefighting. On the emergency vehicles, they're rigged to shut off when the high beams are activated. I would think that you would want them off during the night for a motorcycle.

I've seen a couple bikes in my area with them. They're definitely something I would consider since they make you a lot more visible during the day.

This thread should pretty much answer your question....

Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
