Got a scare today...

#1 Unread post by DustyWusty »

Was looking at my crankcase and saw around two of the mounting ares are what looked like harline cracks, assuming the worst, I took a screwdriver and scraped at it, thank god it was just the outer coating! The aluminum underneath looks fine :) Should I just jb weld a little over these spots or is there some coating I can put on?

Thanks guys!

If it is an area that is exposed to public view I would do nothing if it is not really cracked . If it is underneath and it would make you feel more secure then use the JB Weld .
Kind regards, Wizzard
