Yes, Does anyone on this web site own a new v star 1300? And if so could you let me know what you think about the 1300 Star. What kind of problems you are having if any? Also the ride, and comfert of the machine and reliability also? I am thinking of buying a new Star V Star 1300 cruiser for my wife and I to ride the hills and back roads. Please let me know thanks Wayne and Melody

Re: Star V star 1300 yamaha
Yamaha v-star 1300 is a good bike. Yamaha created the V Star 950 in response to two conclusions gleaned from the company's internal research. Number one: a resurgence of entry level riders view anything under a 950cc motorcycle as too small these days, and number two, these riders doesn't want the same old cruiser that's out there. They desire something new and different. Yamaha bikes are known to be one of the first choices amongst the enthusiast buyers in the country.

Great ride. I think the 12s & 13s got better seat and more pullback (much needed) on the bars.
I ride an 09. Love the stock bars, but they are a little short. Changed them. Bought a Mustang
seat which moved me up, put stock bars back on and the world became a lovely place.
Front end has a known clunk, installed progressive springs, knocked it out. Bottom line there may
be a few adjustments and tweaks, per each individual rider, but it is a great machine.
