Re: What did you do today...
Got the bikes out of winter storage today and rode them to the shop to get sprockets and chains done on both. We were hoping they'd be done before closing and we could ride tomorrow (supposed to snow again next week, but this weekend has been a blessing), but too many people got in line ahead of us. Had to arrange a ride home, and the bikes will be stuck at the shop 'till Monday. Damn!

Re: What did you do today...
Can't say it's my 'Cup-O-Tea' but work is work...and they were willing to pay me exactly what I asked for. Then today we finalized all the paper & he bumped it up higher...don't know what he thinks I can do that he's paying me rockstar money, but hey, never look a gift horse in the mouth...or something like that.sunshine229 wrote:Is this a good thing for you? It's not everyone's cup of tea... If it's yours though, then it's great news! And good luck getting the new bike or car!!!madjak30 wrote:Confirmed my next project...off to Ft Mac next week...
I got to find someone to give me a boost today...truck didn't like being left out in the cold I guess? I'll have to check the battery connections tonight so that I don't have that fiasco to deal with tomorrow too...

Bike wise, wifey says they got 3" of snow again at home...so I'm doubtful I will be riding when I get home, but who knows? It might just warm up enough to melt it all away...(a guy can hope?!?)

Later.

I'm going for a ride today, not a long one, but a ride none the less...

I got a few minutes today to uncover and clean/check the bike after winter.
It started first time.
I could be happier if I had time for a ride...

Yes I did, welcome back.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Re: What did you do today...
I went to Victoria for 5 days. It rained the whole time except for about 3 hours. Sigh. I came home to rain and it is still raining.
I think this might be a good time to make a cup of tea and sit by the fireplace with a book
