I slept in.
It was a rare treat. I made French toast for brunch. I went to the opening of the movie "Prisoners". Then after that went to a show at the Shadbolt centre in Burnaby.
It was a good day.

It was a good day.

Re: What did you do today...
A squidly day for me. Took the Pathfinder to the shop this morning to get it ready for the winter, turns out I need to replace the master cylinder and flush out my brake lines, gonna take a good five hours for the parts to arrive from the warehouse and to do the work. Took a cab home, figured I may as well be comfortable then bored silly waiting for the truck to be finished. Got home, and discovered, I left my house keys with my truck. Bugger, however the kitchen window was open so popped off the fly screen, but I couldn't get in, too big and fat, but my helmet was sitting on the kitchen table well within arms reach and the bike keys were in my pocket. So grabbed the helmet and went back to the shop. Trouble is, I was dressed on in shorts, t-shirt and sneakers, a complete squid riding outfit. Must of been the most cautious ride I have done in a long time.
Always ask why.

Went for a ride today and watched a new rider make a mistake and go down hard. Thankfully she'll be ok, but definitely not something I ever want to see again.

I don't know whether to laugh or roll my eyes.

So how about both.

Re: What did you do today...
I went to the motorcycle shop today and paid for 2 new tires. They get installed next Friday.
This particular shop is not a dealer...it is an independent shop that does service and sells assorted stuff. If he doesn't have something you need, he orders it.

If you have a good independent shop by you, it's a blessing. I find they tend to be more focused on the customer relationship.blues2cruise wrote:I went to the motorcycle shop today and paid for 2 new tires. They get installed next Friday.
