I am having a problem with horsepower wondering if someone can help me. I had the carbs done and now I have no horsepower I can only do 50 mph and when I go up hill i am lucky if I can go 40 mph.

Hello and welcome to the forum. When you say "I had the carbs done" what exactly do you mean?
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

First off, Are you running premium gas, preferably with a booster? I know the owners manual says regular but that was in 1978. My '75 CB750 runs like crap on regular but sings on a booster. You may also want to check your advance system, especially if yours is an early model with points. Hope this helps :shooting:

Do you have the service manual for your bike? If not that's where to start, if so it's in there.
