Lightweight Canopy for Bike Nights?

#1 Unread post by JackoftheGreen »

Okay, so everyone is familiar with the EZ-Up style canopy right? You see them at swap meets and camp grounds and anywhere else people gather outside, telescoping legs and a canvas roof, and the whole thing folds up real nice and convenient.

What I wanna know is, is there such a thing for the motorcycling world? I know there are motorcycle tents, but what about just canopies? It have one of the EZ-Up's myself, and although it's ridiculously easy to transport in a car, there's no way I could take it anywhere on a bike. Anyone ever seen the same sort of thing 'scaled down' for easy motorcycle transport?

My brother in law bought a fold up gazebo/canopy at lowes or Home Depot. It kinda scossored/accordioned together and came in a carrying case. About 3/4' long when folded up. Might do what you need.

Here's what I found:

http://www.amazon.com/ABO-Gear-10275-Tr ... 56MVNMPP2D

I think that'll fit nicely on a luggage rack. And it's a hell of a shelter to carry around in such a small package.
