I think he just wants to branch out in the sport...He'll correct me if I'm wrong, sons do that. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went and bought a dirt bike next! He still rides the Vulcan as the daily ride, while he works on the 'cane. Only time will tell if that changes. He really got his skills up in a hurry on the vulcan...always been that way with sports and hobbies. He really attacks it hard. This will be a different set of skills to learn, and he'll just start over and apply what he knows wherever it fits. I'm always the proud dad, anyway.

Ride safe...God bless!

You ar correct. Its an '87.
thats funny , Give' R. No offense, i think I'll pass.
The reason for the change is.... hard to tell.....? I like the handling and power of the vulcan. But there are other things you can do with a different type of bike. Its kinda like a paint brush. For wide areas you use the FAT BRUSH. Then you switch to the skinny brush for the fine details. Its just a different reach of your arm i guess. I think being 19 has something to do with it.

hey we started sanding the tail side panels. Looks like the past owner removed the original decal and primered over the glue. SO i think we're gonna take it down to plastic. I have a black and red paint scheme thats kinda nice. Everything needs to be sanded. Lots of runs in this paint.
